Yashna International is back yet again and this time with fresh visuals. The singer/songwriter is no longer a stranger to the world of AmaPiano, and has released her 3rd music video for 2021 titled Duma. Duma is the 5th and final single to come out of Yashna’s most recent EP, Yano Groove.
Duma is an up-tempo motivational Amapiano song infused with Pop which was produced by Neo Ndawo.
Making its anticipated official release in June, a month widely celebrated in South Ahh [RSA] as youth month. The video coincides perfectly with the theme that surrounds Duma both lyrically and aesthetically. The video features cameos from a diverse group of inspired kids, and highlights talented Durban based dancers. Lyrically the song also possesses a positive affirmative message with lyrics as follows, “they will never take our power, we will get all our desires, together we can take it higher,” steering the narrative that unity can bring about greater change.
The music video was directed by Creed who has handled many of Yashna’s previous works.
Duma premiered on MTVBase, Friday 25 June at 7AM.
